How to Clean Super Nintendo Cartridges

Super Nintendo game cartridges collect dust and dirt like any other item. The video games did not come with cases to keep out dust. Some came with bottom covers. When dust and dirt gets onto the metal contacts on the bottom of the cartridges, it hinders game play. It can also erase data on the Nintendo system and get dirt into the console. Rubbing alcohol cleans the games without causing damage to the electronic components like other cleaners or water would.
