How to Set Up an Xbox ChillStream Controller for a PC

The Chillstream Gamepad, designed and distributed by Logitech, is a PC controller modeled directly after Microsoft's Xbox controller. Since the Chillstream was made for the PC, the setup process is as simple as installing the included drivers and connecting the controller itself (note that if you are using Windows Vista or 7, you may not need to install anything at all, the controller should work out of the box).

  Insert your Chillstream installation disc into the disc drive on your PC, and wait for the autoplay menu to open. If the menu does not open, select the "My Computer" icon on your PC's desktop or start menu, then select the CD option in the "My Computer" window. Note that if you don't have the installation CD, you can download drivers and documentation from the link under Resources.

  Select the "Next" option to begin installing the drivers to your computer. Once the drivers have been installed, the program will ask you to connect your controller to the computer.

  Connect the Chillstream controller to an available USB port on your PC. The drivers on the PC will recognize the controller, and will prompt you to calibrate the controller. Follow the instructions during the calibration process in order to begin using the controller with your PC games.
