How to Add Action Replay Codes to the DS Through a Computer

The Action Replay DS is a cheat device that can be used with the Nintendo DS hand-held console. This device allows you to enter cheat codes into you DS console either by entering codes manually or by adding the codes to your device via PC. In order to do this, you must connect the DS to a PC and make use of the DS Action Replay code software.

Instructions

  Insert the Action Replay Code manager disc into your PC in order to begin the installation process for your Action Replay software. Follow the installation prompts to install the software to your PC.

  Insert your Action Replay device into the game slot on your DS console.

  Connect the Mini-B end of your Mini-B USB cable to the port on your Action Replay device. Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your PC.

  Double-click the icon for your code manager software on your PC.

  Select the game you wish to add codes for in the "My Codelists" window of the program. Use the mouse to drag the game to the Nintendo DS window. All of the codes in the game will be transferred to your Action Replay cartridge.
