How do I Get a Nintendo DS Lite to Connect to the Action Replay Code Manager?

The Nintendo DS Lite, much like any other version of the Nintendo DS, can work with an Action Replay cheat device. The Action Replay devices that work with the DS allow the hand-held console to connect to a PC so it can use the Action Replay's "Code Manager" software. Once the DS is connected to a PC with the Action Replay, cheat codes can be transferred directly to the game.

PC (with Action Replay Code Manager installed)

Instructions

  Insert a DS game into the game slot on the Action Replay DS cartridge. Insert the Action Replay DS cartridge into the game port on the DS Lite.

  Connect the Mini-USB end of the Mini-to-USB cable to the Mini-USB port on the Action Replay cartridge.

  Connect the USB end of the cable to an available USB port on the PC. If the Code Manager software is installed, the software will launch automatically. Codes for the DS game can now be updated and activated on the Action Replay cartridge.
