How to Use Gameshark Code Generator

The Gameshark Pro is a cheating device designed for use in conjunction with the Nintendo 64 and its games. One of the most convenient aspects of this device is the "Code Generator" which allows you to look for codes while playing the game. If you wish to activate the Code Generator for one of your Nintendo 64 games, the process for doing so is simple.

Instructions

  Insert your Nintendo 64 game into your Gameshark device.

  Insert the Gameshark device, with the game, into your Nintendo 64's game port. Turn your Nintendo 64 on.

  Select the "Start Game" option in the Gameshark main menu to enter the start game menu.

  Scroll to the "Code Generator" option in the main menu and press the "A" button to turn the generator on. Then, select options 1 or 2 to begin playing the game.

  Press the GS button on your Gameshark while playing the game to open the Gameshark's in-game menu. Select option 2 to open the code generator.

  Select option 3, 4, or 5 to perform a specific search for codes. These codes will be presented to you for the purposes of testing or modifying. Select these codes to turn them on and see how they affect your game.
