Insert the Logitech software disc into your computer's CD-ROM drive. This software disc installs the necessary drivers and software required to operate your Logitech Rumblepad 2. When the software window pops up, following the system prompts by clicking "Next" to install the software.
Connect the Logitech's receiver to your computer when the software prompts you. The receiver has an attached USB cable. Connect the cable to the USB port on your computer.
Slide the battery cover open from the back of the Logitech Rumblepad 2. Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment, and then slide the cover back into place.
Press any button on the Logtech Rumblepad 2. You should see the status light on the front of the gamepad turn green. This lets you to know the controller has established a connection with the receiver and is ready for use.
Press the "Connect" button on the front part of the receiver if the gamepad's status light did not turn green after pressing a button. After pressing "Connect," press any button on the gamepad. The light should turn green and your controller should be ready to operate.
