  • Batteries (size and number depends on controller)

  1. Get Your Controller Working

      Buy a third-party wireless Xbox controller. Mad Catz, Logitech and Pelican all make wireless controllers for the original Xbox.

      Put the batteries in the correct space allotted for the batteries.

      Plug in the accessory that comes with the controller to one of the four controller slots on the Xbox.

      Turn the controller on. This is usually done by pressing a switch on the face or top of the controller (depending on the model).

      Turn on the Xbox console. The controller will sync automatically and you are ready to play.
