Things You'll Need
Instructions
Tape the dance pad to the board, placing the duct tape under the dance mat so it can&'t be seen. If your dance mat is standard size, it should fit perfectly so that little of the board can be seen.
Cut the clear plastic so that it is 3 1/2 feet long. If the plastic is already over 37 inches wide, then do nothing. If not, you will have to cut another length of 3 1/2 feet and tape the two pieces together lengthwise. The plastic must completely cover the dance mat.
Place the plastic on the floor. Flip the board over, dance mat side down, and rest it on top of the plastic and in the middle. Make sure the board is centered so that all of the dance mat will be covered in plastic.
Fold one side of the plastic over a long side of the board. Staple the edge of the plastic to the back of the board, placing the staples 1/2 inch away from each other.
Fold the other side of the plastic over to the back of the board. Pull tight so that the plastic is snug against the dance mat in the front. Staple the plastic onto the board, using your other hand to keep the plastic pulled tight. Cut off any excess with the scissors.
Flip the board over. Cut out the plastic around the hard base at the top of the dance mat so that the plastic rests flat. Cut off any excess plastic that is sticking out from the board.
