How to Install a Headset for PS3

The Playstation 3 (PS3) is Sony's console system capable of playing Blu-ray games and movies. With its online capabilities, you can play with and against other people. However, win these online matches sometimes communication is necessary. You can use any Bluetooth-enabled gaming headset for your communication needs. All it requires is a Bluetooth pairing installation from the PS3 menu.

  Turn on your PS3 and go to the "Cross Menu Bar." Navigate to "Settings" then "Accessories."

  Choose "Manage Bluetooth Devices." Select "Yes" when it asks if you want to register a Bluetooth device.

  Choose "Start Scanning" and activate your headset into pairing mode. Consult your headset user's manual for specific instructions in how to activate its pairing mode.

  Wait until the name of your headset shows up on screen after activating pairing mode. Select it until you are brought to a pass key screen.

  Type the pass key code "0000" then press "Enter" to save the changes. The words "Register complete" will confirm that your headset is installed.
