How to Make an XBox Skin

Some gamers, to show their love of a particular game or to simply express their own personal style, will add "skins" to their consoles. These skins can be anything form artsy designs to images from their favorite games to their favorite sports teams. While these skins can be purchased from most stores that sell video games for roughly $10, with a little ingenuity and some photo editing software you can create your own Xbox skins.

Things You'll Need

Photo editing software
Printer
Scissors
Double-stick tape

Instructions

  Download a template of your Xbox to use as a canvas for your design.

  Boot up your photo editing software and open the template file for your Xbox.

  Add a new layer over the existing console image by clicking the "Layers" button on the top of the screen and adding "Add New Layer."

  Create your design on the new layer. Keep the design within the confines of the template image.

  Print the designs you have created. Allow a minute for the ink to dry.

  Cut the designs using a pair of scissors. Use smaller scissors for more intricate designs.

  Apply double-sided tape to the underside of the designs printed and stick the design to your console.
