Instructions
Open the cabinet by unscrewing all the bolts and screws on the backside of the case. The Space Zap cabinets were designed with their chassis to be removed from the back of the cabinet.
Scan the device for any broken glass or tubes. If the device has fallen or overheated, these tubes can shatter, which can be extremely dangerous to the arcade cabinet. If this occurs, proceed directly to the fourth step.
Examine the wires connecting to the motherboard to the monitor. There should be at least one cord, typically very thick, that connects the monitor to a slot on the motherboard. If this is disconnected, nothing will be able to display on the screen.
Send the Space Zap machine to a repair shop. If you live in a large enough area, you may have a local electronics shop that can fix the cabinet, typically because these repair shops have worked on old television sets. If not, you can always contact a site online, as there are numerous businesses that you can send the cabinet to around the world to be repaired.
