Instructions
Install the MAME software onto the computer before you insert it into the cabinet. Connect the joystick control unit with the USB cable and set up the controllers within MAME.
Assemble the arcade cabinet by following the instructions included with the cabinet. Each cabinet has a different assembly process.
Insert the computer into the back of the arcade cabinet and plug it into the power strip.
Attach the joystick control unit to the front of the arcade cabinet, then connect it to the computer via USB cable. If the control unit has a power cord, plug it into the power strip.
Mount the computer monitor or television inside the arcade cabinet. Many arcade cabinets provide an adjustable shelf to raise or lower the monitor. Connect the monitor or television to the computer and plug it into the power strip. You will need a video card with a television output if using a television with the computer.
Apply the monitor bezel to the front of the screen and trim it with a utility knife if necessary so that only the screen is visible. You may wish to leave a small gap to access the monitor's power button.
Place the speakers inside the cabinet or mount them if the cabinet provides mounting locations for speakers. Connect the speakers to the audio output of the computer and plug their power cable into the power strip.
Plug in the power strip and turn it on. Turn on the computer and monitor and launch the MAME software.
