How to Play The Sims: Bustin' Out Two-Player

It's fitting that a game that lets you simulate life allows multiple people to play the game together simultaneously. Life's greatest moments are often shared with other people, and "The Sims: Bustin' Out" allows players to take control of a household via split-screen. The multiplayer mode is only available in Freeplay Mode, and the second player will only be able to control one Sim; the first player will control all the other Sims in the household.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter Freeplay Mode from the main menu. You'll be prompted with a panel that allows you to choose the Sims as whom you wish to play.

    • 2

Pick a house that has at least two Sims in it. Each player will have a different, individual Sim to control. The game will begin loading the selected house.

    • 3

Press the "Start" button on the second controller when the house loads. The screen will split in two, and each player will control a Sim. If there are more than two Sims, Player 1 can control them as well.
