Check the power connection running from the arcade video game to the electrical outlet.
Insert the proper amount of money into the arcade game. On the money slot it states exactly how much you need to insert for the game to run. If you slide in too little, the game is not going to run. Thankfully, if you own the game you can leave the money bank open, so once the change runs through the game you can reuse the same coins.
Open up the rear compartment on the arcade video game. This exposes the circuit board and the bottom of the television system. Make sure the TV's electrical cables are completely inserted into the circuit board. If not, the TV is not going to receive the video signals.
Wipe off the circuit board. If the circuit board is covered in dust, the video chip signals are not going to reach the video screen, and the entire game may not function. Cleaning off the circuit board corrects most playback problems.
Look for the fuses housed in the back of the video game. If the fuses are black or broken, the video game is not going to work. Remove the fuses (these just slide out) and insert replacement fuses. You can obtain these replacement fuses from many arcade manufacturing companies and even the location you purchased the equipment from.
