Cyclone-Geometry-Style Flash Games

Cyclone-Geometry-style games are shooting games in which a player must dodge and shoot geometric figures to score points. The goal of the game is to score as many points by destroying as many geometric figures as possible. Geometry-based shooting games have become popular for the Xbox, iPhone and computers.
  1. "Geometry Wars" for iPhone and Xbox

    • "Geometry Wars" for the iPhone and Xbox is the original geometry-style game. Game modes include "Waves," a mode in which players must kill all the enemies waves without dying; "Pacifism," a mode in which players must dodge enemies and pass through safe points in order to destroy enemies; "Evolved," a classic shooter-style mode where players must destroy as many enemies as possible; "Deadline," a mode in which players try to achieve the highest score possible in the allotted time; and "King," a mode that requires players to stay inside circular safe zones to kill enemies.

    Neon

    • Created by Crazy Monkey Games, "Neon" places gamers inside a black space where players must shoot and destroy geometric figures. Not as complex and varied as "Geometry Wars," "Neon" is a simplified version of cyclone-geometry-style games. However, "Neon" does include a high-score rank that allows a gamer to track previous high scores.

    Cyclone

    • Command the Cyclone fighter aircraft as you battle waves of geometry figures. Designed by Finger Time Studios, "Cyclone" players are given three lives and must fight through 50 enemy waves to complete the game. Given a boost ability, players can dodge flying figures as they shoot and destroy enemy waves. "Cyclone" offers the ability to track high scores from past games.

    "Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2"

    • "Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2" for the Xbox 360 Arcade contains a classic game mode where players try to survive for as long as possible. In addition, "Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2" includes several new game modes, such as "Deadline," a mode in which players must score the highest possible points in three minutes; other game modes include "King," "Evolved," "Pacifism," "Waves" and "Sequences" from the original game.
