How to Put a Third Person on Call of Duty 4

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare received mass praise in its 2007 debut, and in only seven months' time sold over ten million units. One of the game's strongest features is multiplayer, offering online play and a local split-screen setup for a single console and TV. By following a few brief steps, you can add a third person to the split-screen mode and get started on multiplayer with your friends.

  Connect three controllers to your game system. Each controller should have an indicator light on to show that it's powered up and to show which controller number the player has been assigned.

  Enter the multiplayer area. This is the "Multiplayer" option at the bottom of the main menu.

  Select "Split Screen" mode. This will bring you to the "SPLIT SCREEN SIGNIN" screen.

  Follow the on-screen prompts for each player to join. Each player must press a button to join the game (the green "A" button on the XBox or the "X" button on the PS3). The three players can join in any order. You can begin the match immediately or complete the game setup and then start the match
