Zoombox Projector Specifications

The Zoombox Projector was made by Hasbro Toys, Tiger Electronics Division. It is designed for kids 5 to 11 years old. It comes with a DVD player and connects to game systems, cable box, video camera and digital camera. Hasbro no longer makes the Zoombox Projector, although bulbs and lenses are widely available as of 2010. It is available at online stores and auction sites. The original price was $299.

    • With a shipping weight of 9.7 lbs. and an unpacked weight of about 2 lbs., the Zoombox Projector is portable. It is 7 inches long, 14 inches wide and 13 inches high.

    Electrical Specifications

    • The Hasbro Zoombox operates on standard household electricity. One of the features of the Zoombox is its ability to connect to other devices. This is accomplished by three input jacks; one RCA video jack, one RCA audio jack and a third jack for a game input. Output methods are one headphone jack and two speaker jacks. The bulb is a 35w 12v MR11. (This bulb becomes very hot and adult supervision is highly recommended.)

    Display

    • When using a wall or a ceiling as a screen, at 8-feet in distance the image is a 60-inch diagonal display. The resolution is not adjustable and is 557-by-234 dpi (dots per inch).
