How to Copy Xbox Games to My Modded Xbox

By modifying--also known as "modding"--an Xbox you can play burnt game discs, play games from other countries and even save whole games on the device's hard drive. However, modding the Xbox has some drawbacks. The Xbox will no longer be under warranty and the modification itself, if done improperly, can break the machine. If you still want to mod the Xbox and transfer games to it, it is easily done at home.

Things You'll Need

Router and LAN cable
Xbox with the Evolution-X hack installed
Computer

Instructions

  Connect the Xbox to the router with the LAN cable.

  Power on the Xbox. Evolution-X will load automatically.

  Open the "System" menu in Evolution-X. Choose "Network" and leave it open to view the IP address for your Xbox.

  Connect your computer and your Xbox with file transfer protocol (FTP) active. This connects the Xbox and the computer over the Internet and allows files to be transferred between the two.

  Copy the folders of the desired games from your computer to your Xbox.
