Connecting to a Television
Insert the included AV connector into the port labeled "AV" on the back of the Xbox.
Plug the red, yellow and white connectors into the corresponding jacks on the back, front or side of your television. The yellow jack is labeled "Video In" and the red and white jacks are labeled "Audio In."
Insert the power cable into the Xbox and connect it to a power source. Turn the system on.
Choose the appropriate AV source for the Xbox. This varies depending on the television. Some television remote controls have a button labeled "AV" or "Source." Press this button to change input sources until you see the Xbox menu on the television screen.
Connecting to a VCR
Plug the included AV connector into the console's AV port.
Connect the red, yellow and white connectors to the color-coded jacks on the back of the VCR.
Connect the power cable to the Xbox, then to a power source. Turn the Xbox on.
Select the correct AV source for the Xbox by pressing the "Source" button on the VCR. This button may be labeled differently depending on the model of the VCR.
