Press the release button on the top of your hard drive to remove it from the console.
Remove the four screws in the corners of the underside of your hard drive using the TORX #6 screwdriver. One screw will be covered by a Microsoft sticker--peel this off to remove the screw.
Separate the top and bottom of the hard drive to access the inside of the hard drive. Remove the four screws in the corners of the metal casing on the top part of the hard drive using the TORX
screwdriver. Remove the metal casing, and your Xbox 360 hard drive will now be completely opened.
