Things You'll Need
Instructions
Unplug all wires from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System before cleaning, such as main power, A/V connector and control pads.
Spray a medium quantity of glass cleaner onto a paper towel or washcloth. The cloth should be damp but not dripping.
Gently scrub dirt and marks off the exterior of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. When one area of your washcloth or paper towel becomes too dirty, use a new paper towel or a different part of the washcloth. If your SNES has become slightly yellowed, do not try to remove this coloration: it is simply a natural condition of the plastic used to manufacture the console and cannot be removed by cleaning.
Open the cartridge slot of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and blow compressed air on the gold cartridge contacts. If the SNES is sometimes refusing to play games, this will clean the contacts and improve the console's performance. If any liquid from the compressed air drips onto the contacts, make sure it dries before using the console.
