How to Transfer Games From a PC to a NOOK

Although the NOOK tablet uses a proprietary Android-based operating system, you can still transfer files between the device and your PC seamlessly. This includes e-books, videos and music, as well as apps and games that you have downloaded to your computer. To keep the interface simple, the NOOK only has a few folder categories to store these files, so you̵7;ll have to place the transferred games in the My Downloads folder to ensure the device recognizes the files.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to the folder on your computer that contains the .APK files of the games you want to transfer. This is usually the game̵7;s original download folder.

    • 2

Turn on the NOOK and connect the USB cable to your computer.

    • 3

Select the "Open or View Files" from the list of options on the computer screen. Click the ̶0;MyNOOK̶1; icon in the ̶0;My Computer̶1; window.

    • 4

      Open the ̶0;My Files̶1; folder, and double-click the ̶0;My Downloads̶1; folder.

    • 5

Go back to the folder containing the .APK files. Right-click the file you want to transfer, and select ̶0;Copy̶1; from the menu.

    • 6

Right-click inside the ̶0;My Downloads̶1; folder, and then click ̶0;Paste̶1; to transfer the game file to your NOOK.
