Your strategy in "Medieval HD" for the iPad has to balance a powerful offense with a strong defense in order for you to be successful. This means taking the time to heal between volleying various arrows and other projectiles at the enemy's castle and minions. The developers of the game make it easy to recover with healing arrows, which repair your castle and restore health to your units. However, you have to make sure you use the proper technique for maximum effectiveness.

Wait for a break in the enemy's attack. Otherwise, any damage you receive could negate the effect of the healing arrow.

Tap the healing arrow icon at the bottom of the screen.

Place your finger on the bow and aim at the ground in front of your castle.

Drag and release your finger to shoot the arrow. If you are using the auto aim option, simply tap the ground in front of your castle to shoot the arrow.
