How to Import Skyrim PC Saves

"Skyrim" is an extremely large game, with many players putting in 100 or more hours just to experience all the content the game has to offer. If you wish to play Skyrim on a different computer, the thought of starting over from scratch may be unappealing.. By locating and copying the save file from your current Skyrim installation, you can import that file to another Skyrim installation on a different PC, enabling you to continue your adventures no matter which computer you use.

  Open the Windows 8 File Explorer and navigate to this folder on your Windows 8 hard drive: "C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\my games\skyrim\saves," where "User Name" is your Windows 8 account name.

  Copy the save file using a flash drive, a cloud-based online storage service or any other file transfer method.

  Paste the file in the following folder on the second computer: "C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\my games\skyrim\saves"

  Launch Skyrim on the second computer and select "Load." The save file you copied from your previous Skyrim installation is available for you to load and play in the list of saved games.
