How to Shout in Skyrim Using Kinect Commands

The Dragon Shout power is one of your character's strongest weapons in "Skyrim," available for the Xbox 360. A shout can push your enemies away, make you impervious to attacks or disarm your opponents. A free update to "Skyrim" for the Xbox 360 enabled you to use the Kinect accessory to perform Dragon Shouts in a different way: by actually yelling them yourself. By knowing the appropriate voice command in either the English or Dragon language, you can use a Dragon Shout by just yelling it once you enable the Kinect in-game.

Instructions

  Turn on the Kinect for use in "Skyrim" by checking the "Kinect Controls" box, located in the Settings section of the System menu while you're in the game.

  Press and hold "RB" on your Xbox 360 controller when you want to use a Dragon Shout.

  Say the name of the shout out loud in either the English or Dragon language. For example, to use the Dragonrend shout, you would say "Dragonrend" or "Joor Zah Frul." When you say the shout, your character uses it immediately. A complete list of shouts is available in the Resources section of this article.
