"Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game" is purposely designed to mimic games from the NES era with its pixelated graphical style and chiptune-based music. However, the game also mimics another neglected video game art: hidden features accessibly only via the use of a cheat code. The Sound Check level, appearing on the level select screen as a radio station, is one such example. Once unlocked, this level enables you to listen to every music track and sound effect in the game. The cheat code differs depending on whether you are playing the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version of the game.

Pause the game while on the level select screen.

Enter the following button presses on your controller if playing the Xbox 360 version: LB, LB, LB, RB, RB, RB, LB, RB. If you are playing the PlayStation 3 version, enter the following button presses: L1, L1, L1, R1, R1, R1, L1, R1. A path to the radio station will unlock if you entered the code successfully.
