How to Get Rid of the Elder Scrolls in Skyrim Dawnguard

In the "Dawnguard" expansion for "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," you're asked to find three Elder Scrolls for the Moth Priest, Dexion Evicus. Once you beat the main quest, the Elder Scrolls don't automatically disappear from your inventory, and you can't remove them manually. If you sided with the Dawnguard faction, though, Dexion will buy two of the artifacts from you. To get rid of the third, you'll need to sell it to an orc in the College of Winterhold.

Instructions

Dragon Elder Scroll

  Complete the main quest "Alduin's Bane" and, if you have the Dawnguard expansion, "Unseen Visions."

  Go to the College of Winterhold and enter the Arcanaeum.

  Talk to the orc, Urag gro-Shub. When he inquires about the Dragon Elder Scroll, agree to sell it to him for 2,000 gold.
Sun and Blood Elder Scrolls

  Complete the Dawnguard quests "Seeking Disclosure," "Unseen Visions" and "Prophet."
- 5
  Side with the Dawnguard faction, not the vampires, during the main quest.

  Travel to Fort Dawnguard and talk to Dexion Evicus.

  Agree to sell the Sun and Blood Elder Scrolls for 6,000 gold.
