How to Wear a Suit You Already Bought in Dead Space

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the video game ̶0;Dead Space̶1; received additional downloadable content suits that feature superior defense ratings when compared to the Engineer suit that you get to wear by default. Any DLC suits that you have already bought from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace will begin to show up in the in-game stores scattered across the various levels in Dead Space.

Instructions

  Launch "Dead Space" and select ̶0;Load Game̶1; to load a previously saved game or select ̶0;New Game̶1; to start a new game.

  Press the ̶0;SELECT̶1; button (PlayStation 3) or ̶0;Back̶1; button (Xbox 360) once you are in control of Isaac to open a three-dimensional map of the level that you are currently in. In-game store locations are denoted as hut-shaped icons with a blue-colored circle in the middle. Travel to a store location using the map as a reference.

  Press ̶0;X̶1; (PlayStation 3) or ̶0;A̶1; (Xbox 360) while standing in front of a store to access it.

  Use the right and left D-Pad buttons to select the ̶0;Shop̶1; tab. Next, scroll down using the down D-Pad button and highlight the DLC suit that you want to equip.

  Press ̶0;X̶1; (PlayStation 3) or ̶0;A̶1; (Xbox 360). The game will ask you buy the suit for 0 in-game credits. Press ̶0;X̶1; (PlayStation 3) or ̶0;A̶1; (Xbox 360) again to confirm. A short animation will begin to show Isaac equipping the suit.

  Press ̶0;O̶1; (PlayStation 3) or ̶0;B̶1; (Xbox 360) to exit the store.
