How to Enter the South-East Chamber on Dragon Age

The quest "The Urn of Sacred Ashes" is one of the main quests in the storyline of "Dragon Age: Origins." During the quest, you have to make your way through a ruined temple with several locked doors for which you have to find keys. The first of these locked doors leads to the south-east chamber of the temple; if you can't access that chamber, you won't be able to proceed any further because it contains the key for the temple's main hall.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to the entrance of the temple, if you aren't already there. Head north up the stairs, defeating enemies as you go, turn west and open the door. This location is marked on your map as "Cultist Chambers."

    • 2

Make your way through the rooms, defeating any enemies you encounter and being careful not to trigger traps.

    • 3

Locate and open the ornate chest in the last room. This chest contains the black pearl, a quest item you will need to progress further, and the key to the south-east chamber.

    • 4

Return to the entrance of the temple and defeat the enemies that arrived while you were gone. Head to the south-east chamber door and open it with the key.
