How to Get God Armor in Ghost of Sparta

In "God of War: Ghost of Sparta," Kratos and his brother, Deimos, team up to destroy Thanatos, the god of death. When you defeat Thanatos on any difficulty level, you'll unlock the God Armor as a reward. God Armor decreases damage taken, boosts fire meter regeneration and doubles Thera's Bane weapon damage. Enemies will also drop experience orbs when hit.

Instructions

Thanatos Battle
- 1
  Run up to Thanatos and strike him with your blades several times. When you've done enough damage, Thanatos will drop health and experience orbs.

  Tap the "L" and "R" buttons repeatedly when Kratos gets stunned by an attack. If you do this quickly enough, Kratos turns the attack back on Thanatos, stunning him.

  Get close to Thanatos and press the "Circle" button. Kratos and Deimos attack him together for extra damage.

  Continue attacking with your blades until Thanatos morphs into a large monster.

  Tap "L" when Thanatos shoots a projectile at you to fire it back, stunning him.

  Run up to Thanatos while he's stunned and attack with your blades until he gets back up. When he rises, Thanatos will try to strike you. Roll out of the way to avoid taking damage.

  Repeat this process a few more times until Thanatos changes back into his human form. Attack him with your blades in the same way as before. After enough damage, he'll change back into his creature form.

  Keep attacking Thanatos until the "Circle" icon appears over his head. Run up and press "Circle" to initiate a cutscene and go to the next part of the battle.

  Roll out of the way when Thanatos tries to swipe at you. When he slams his fist into the ground, jump to avoid getting knocked over.

  Press "Circle" when the icon appears over Thanatos. The creature morphs back into his human form. Approach him and press "Circle" again. When prompted, tap "L" and "R" quickly to destroy Thanatos and end the battle. You've won the game and unlocked the God Armor.
Equip the God Armor

  Go to the main menu after beating the game on any difficulty.

  Select "New Game" and then select "Yes" to start the game with your previously earned experience, collectibles and costumes.

  Select a difficulty level. You can only wear costumes on the difficultly level used to unlock them. For example, if you unlocked the God Armor on Spartan mode, you must play Spartan mode again to wear the costume.

  Scroll to the God Armor costume. Press "X" to select it and start the game.
