How to Remove Wii Softmods

Prepare your Wii for softmodding

  Delete all files on the SD card.

  Download 4.3 Softmod at http://adf.ly/23fkV. Extract the files to the SD card.

  Place the SD card in the Wii. Turn on the console.

  Load and launch Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

  Select "Vault" once the Main Menu loads. Choose the "Stage Builder." The Hackmii Installer will start running.

  Install the Homebrew Channel and Bootmii as boot2.

  Restart the Wii. Bootmii will appear once the Wii is on.

  Press the Wii's power button three times in a row. Press the reset button.

  Follow the on-screen instructions to build the NAND backup.

  Back up the Bootmii folder, NAND.bin and keys.bin on your computer.

  Delete all files from the SD card.

Softmodding your Wii

  Select the Homebrew Channel on the Wii.

  Run the IOS236 installer v5 MOD. You will see a "IOS236 installation is complete" message once complete. Go back to the Homebrew Channel.

  Run the YAWM Multimod Batch, which will automatically begin installing the required wads. You should receive a "0 failed" message before being returned to the Homebrew Channel.

  Run the Priiloader 236 Mod. Once it launches, press + and install Priiloader. If you see an error for "loader.ini" or "password.txt" ignore them.

  Hold the reset button and restart the Wii. Priiloader will begins to load.

  Scroll down until you see Hacks. Select "Auto press A at health screen," "Block disci updates" and "Block online updates. Click "Save."

  Restart the Wii.
