Fast Start
The daytime levels allow you to play the classic Sonic adventure -- you'll cruise through trouble, collecting golden rings along the way. To get an extra boost at the start of these levels, you must swing your Wii Remote controller by the strap at the beginning of the countdown. Firmly tighten the strap around your wrist so the Wii Remote doesn't get tossed and hit something or someone. Make sure those around you stand at a safe distance while you twirl. As soon as the count gets to one, twirl your controller. Sonic will burst out in a spin dash.
Unlock the Adabat Mission
"Sonic Unleashed" has plenty of levels to test both your running and smashing abilities, but if you're persistent enough, you can unlock another secret mission to complete the entire game. To unlock the "Adabat" mission, you must play through the game and collect every item, including all the "Art," "Secret Documents" and "Movies" except for "Movie$."
Sonic Omake
To view the secret "Sonic Omake" cut scene, you must complete all the missions and achieve "S-Ranks" to play the final mission. "S-Ranks" are obtained by completing the mission with the best possible time and finding all the items in a level. While you're playing the last mission, find and collect all the items, and you'll be treated to this secret cut scene.
Collecting Items
Playing through "Sonic Unleashed" can be fun, but finding all the hidden items can be a chore when you're playing through the game for the first time. Play through the game and collect what you can the first time, and then play through the game again and take your time collecting the remaining items. By playing through a second time, you'll know what to expect from the levels, so you'll be better prepared to hunt for any items you've missed.
