God of War III
"God of War III," developed by SCE Studios Santa Monica and released by Sony Computer Entertainment, is an action game for the PlayStation 3. "God of War III" is the final chapter in the "God of War" series that first appeared on the PlayStation 2, and places gamers in the role of Kratos, a vengeful warrior looking to get even with the Greek gods that made him the way he is. "God of War III" will thrill and entertain teenage action game fans with its relentless pace and fighting system, as well as its enormous-sized bosses. "God of War III" features very graphic violence, however, so it is best suited for older teens.
Uncharted Series
The "Uncharted" series, developed by Naughty Dog Software and Sony Computer Entertainment, is a great action game for teenagers. Available exclusively on the PlayStation 3, the "Uncharted" series has two critically acclaimed games available and one more in production: "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and the yet-to-be released "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception." The "Uncharted" series features incredible graphics, great controls and a terrific story that will keep teen gamers interested. Teen gamers will also enjoy the cinematic camera angles and heart-pounding action that the "Uncharted" series delivers.
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
"LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars," developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Lucas Arts, is another action genre game that teenagers will have fun with. "LSWIII" is available on all platforms, including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PCs, and it covers seasons one and two of the "Clone Wars" animated television series. "LSWIII" has a relatively simple control scheme that teens will find appealing, and teens will also enjoy the simplistic design and challenge of the game's puzzles. "LSWIII" does not follow one character path, instead choosing to allow gamers the ability to control and manipulate multiple characters and use each character's strengths and weaknesses to their advantage.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2
"Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2," developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision, is another great action game for teenagers because it lets them control their favorite super-heroes. "MUA 2" features nearly all of the heroes and villains from the Marvel universe, including Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Venom and Wolverine. In "MUA 2," gamers control a team of four super-heroes, and they have the ability to switch from character to character at anytime. Teen gamers will enjoy the pace of this game as well as the ability of their super-heroes to combine their powers while playing "MUA 2." "MUA 2" is also available on all consoles, including the Nintendo Wii, the Xbox360, PCs and PlayStation 3.
