New Costumes
Complete the game's story mode once through on any difficulty to unlock bonus costumes, which essentially give every character alternative color schemes for you to select. Completing the game also allows you to use any character on the roster during exhibition or multiplayer matches.
Alpha's Bonus Weapons
To unlock Alpha's Great Maul weapon, achieve the title of "Diamond Paladin" in the game's story mode, and to unlock the "Terror Moon" weapon, successfully complete the "Return of Guardian Ammon" quest.
Ivy's Bonus Weapons
To unlock Ivy's Black Widow weapon, achieve the title of "Garnet Paladin" in the game's story mode, and to unlock the Valentine weapon, complete the "Imperial Army Headquarters" quest successfully.
Lloyd's Bonus Weapons
Unlock Lloyd's Angel's Tear weapon by achieving the title of "Edgemaster" in the game's story mode. Finish the "Guardian Cervantes' Revenge" quest to unlock the "Terror Moon" weapon.
Mitsurugi's Bonus Weapons
You can access the Mitsurugi's Pandemonium weapon by achieving the title of "Ultimate Master" in the game's story mode. You unlock the Shishi-Oh weapon upon successfully completion of the "Defense Line in the Wildnerness" quest.
Sophita's Bonus Weapons
To unlock Sophita's Hyperion weapon, achieve the title of "Ruby Paladin" in the game's story mode, and to unlock the Omega Sword weapon, complete the "Beyond the White Darkness" quest successfully.
Siegfried's Bonus Weapons
Achieving the title of "Legendary Hero" in the game's story mode unlocks Siegrfried's Soul Calibur weapon. Unlock the Soul Edge Omega weapon by successfully defeating the bosses Fafnir, Ammon, Geki and Maki and Cervantes in story mode.
Taki's Bonus Weapons
To unlock Taki's Fu-Ma Kugi weapon, achieve the title of "Sword Master" in the game's story mode, and to unlock the Mekki-Maru weapon, successfully complete the "Return of the Guardians Geki and Meki" quest.
