How to Work the Wii Action Replay

The Action Replay device for the Wii is a third party product by the Datel company for cheats on Wii games. It allows players to download cheats from the Internet onto their PC and load them onto their Wii in order to gain extra level ups or other bonuses in Wii games. In order to use the Action Replay product with your PC and Wii you will need an SD memory card and an SD card reader, unless your PC can read SD cards without one.

Instructions

  Install the Max Media Manager onto your PC. Place the CD into the PC and click "Install Software." Once the install is complete remove the CD from the computer.

  Insert your SD card into your SD card reader and plug it into your computer's USB port or plug the SD card directly into your computers SD card slot.

  Click "Options" and select "Device Drive" under General Options. Click the "Do not search, SD memory is on the following drive:" box and select a drive for the SD card from the list.

  Open Max Media Manager on your computer. Click "Saves-Web" in the upper right hand side of the window. Click on "Power-Saves."

  Select the first letter the name of the game whose save you want to download. Select the name of the game and click on the save you want to download. Check the "To SD" box and click "Download."

  Eject the SD card from your computer.

  Turn on your Wii and plug the SD card into the Wii's SD card slot. Insert the game whose save you want to copy into your Wii.

  Click on "Wii Options" and select "Data Management." Click on "Save Data." Click on "Wii and select the "SD Card." Select the save you want to copy and click "Copy."

  Return to the Wii's main menu and click on the game's disk. Load the game's save and play using the cheat data.
