Pitfall the Big Adventure Hints & Cheats

The Pitfall franchise began back in 1982, when Activision released "Pitfall!" for the Atari 2600 console. The game went on to become one of the Atari 2600's best-selling games ever, and spawned a number of sequels on a variety of consoles, as well as a short-lived Saturday morning cartoon. The adventures of the main hero, Harry, generally involve thick forests and dangerous wildlife. The version "Pitfall: The Big Adventure," for the Nintendo Wii, continues the tradition with over 60 levels of adventure and puzzles. The game's mechanics have been redesigned to incorporate the Wii's motion-sensing controls. Try out these tricks to change up your gameplay experience.

Play as Nicole
- To play as Nicole, hold Z and press Left, Up, Down, Up, Plus, Up, Up at the title screen. Be aware that Nicole will still have the original voice.
Play as the Princess of the Natives
- To play as the Princess of the Natives, press Up, Up, Up, Down, Up, Right, Left, Right, Right, Right, Right, Up, Down at the butterfly glade.
Two Hard-to-Find Shamans
- The first shaman can be found at Turtle Monument. Go to the very left of the turtle and find the breakable wall. Throw TNT at it or anger one of the Mega Monkey Moms without a baby and go under the wall. The wall will be smashed and show the way to the shaman. The other shaman is found at Renegade Fort. Get to the top of the fort and look at the gate. Jump to the left of it. If two renegades appear where you land, you're in the right place. Roll around until you find a hole, and go through it to find the other shaman.
Escape the Cockpit
- In order to escape the cockpit, break the cracked window by pressing "A" and shaking the remote after rolling through the hole. You are now free to climb out of the cockpit.
Play Original Pitfall
- To play the original Pitfall, hold "Z" and press Plus, Plus, Left, Right, Plus, Minus, 2, Up and Plus at the title screen.
