Insert the Wii Fit game disc and turn on the Wii Fit sensor board. In order to activate the challenge strength exercise, you must first set your fitness goal on your profile page. You can set a specific weight-loss goal per day, maintain your weight or create a weekly goal. The Wii Fit program will make suggestions about how much you should lose based on your body mass index.
Begin your workout. The four types of workout you can choose from include yoga, aerobic, balance and strength. Click on each workout category to see the exercise options available. If you are just starting out, you need to complete the basic exercises in order to unlock the second stage of exercise options.
Select and complete the basic exercise options in the strength category. You will be awarded points based on your repetitions, speed and technique for each exercise. Once you have completed the basic exercises, buttons for the 10-, 20-, 30- and 60-second workout along with the 6- and 10-set repetitions will appear.
Repeat the strength workout exercises until you achieve a four-star rating on all levels and panels. Each exercise is graded on a one- to four-star rating scale based on how well you execute it. Achieving a perfect rating may take practice and training. Once you have received a four-star rating on all the workouts, all the challenge exercises like the plank, jackknife and pushup challenges will be unlocked.
