Instructions for Tiger Woods Wii Game

Tiger Woods Wii Golf has produced a different game every year since the Wii first came out, with game developers and designers improving upon each game to make it more similar to actually playing golf. In the 2011 game, there are a series of more advanced swing types which allow you to have the full range of motion when playing, so that you actually have to repeat your same swing over and over again and are not just simply swinging back and forth with the right club in order to win the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert Tiger Woods PGA Tour for Wii into the Wii. Turn it on and go to the main page. Select "Play Now," then select your course, number of holes and player and begin the game.

    • 2

Pause the game on the first hole before you hit your first shot. A menu will come up onscreen. Scroll down to the "Options" selection. Another menu will appear onscreen and the first selection will be "Swing Settings." Select this option. Yet another menu will appear allowing you to choose which way you naturally swing the WiiMote, the swing difficulty, the putting style and the camera angle. Go down one selection to "Swing Difficulty" and select it.

    • 3

Select "Tour Pro." This will allow the Wii and the WiiMote to not only detect when you swing and what angles you come down on the golf ball but where you hit a simulated ball on the ground. Go back to the game where your player is on the first hole.

    • 4

Press the "B" button as to where you want the ball you are playing with to be placed on the ground in front of your TV screen. This will replicate itself in the Tiger Woods Wii game so that when the WiiMote crosses this spot you selected on the ground, it will detect how and where you hit the golf ball and how it will travel down the fairway. The camera view will also be adjusted, allowing you to play your rounds through your player's own point of view.
