Instructions
Assemble your instruments. Inside your "Rock Band 2" box set there will be a user's manual that dictates the step-by-step instructions for ensuring that your instruments are set up correctly. Insert batteries into the instruments.
Put the "Rock Band 2" disc into the Wii, and start the game.
Insert the microphone into one of the Wii's USB ports, accessible on the back of the system. Insert the dongle for the guitar into the other USB port. The guitar dongle has two USB ports on it; use one of these for the drum set dongle. The dongles will be used to sync your guitar and drums wirelessly to the Wii.
Sync your guitar and drums one at a time. Do this by first holding down the guitar button on the guitar until it flashes blue; then hold down the "sync" button on the guitar dongle while holding down the "sync" button on the guitar. Repeat the procedure with the drum set, using the drum set dongle.
Connect a Wii remote for use by the vocalist; this will allow the vocalist to confirm settings and select songs.
