How to Remove Scratches From a Wii Disc

Wii discs, like any other DVD or CD, can become scratched from numerous things such as being stored on top of each other, mishandling or rubbing them against one another. A scratched Wii disc is hard for the Wii console to read. The console may eject the disc if it is too scratched. You can repair scratches in the Wii disc at home with some simple items.

Things You'll Need

White toothpaste
Soft, lint-free cloths

  Squeeze a pea-size amount of toothpaste onto the Wii disc or a soft cloth. Rub the toothpaste into the Wii disc in a straight stroke from the inside of the disc to the outside edges.

  Clean the toothpaste off the game disc by running the disc under cold water. Use your soft cloth to wipe off any excess toothpaste smears.

  Dry your Wii disc with a dry cloth from the inside of the disc to the outside edges. This should help remove minor scratches from your Wii game disc.
