How to Unlock Expert Time Trials in Mario Kart for Wii

"Mario Kart Wii" is a Wii game where players race as famous and all-time favorite Nintendo characters. The race course mode 'Time Trials' allows players to race against a "Ghost" opponent that tests their skills in cornering, keeping a good speed and overall racing style. The Expert Staff Ghost Time Trials course tests a player's ability to race a course with near perfect skills. Expert Staff Ghost Time Trials require you to corner at the perfect times, avoid obstacles entirely and stay ahead of your opponent.

Instructions

  Click on "Time Trials" and pick "Normal Staff Ghost" race course to race a course against the Normal Staff Ghost.

  Beat the ghost on the track. The Normal Staff Ghost is slow, hits quite a few obstacles and makes other mistakes. It is usually easy to beat this race. Once you beat the race, Expert Staff Ghost Time Trials will be available.

  Race on the Expert Staff Ghost Time Trials to unlock other characters and bikes. Other unlockable characters include Toadette, Baby Luigi, Birdo and a Mii Outfit (B). Bikes that can be unlocked are the Sprinter, Torpedo and Magikruiser.
