Unlock Baby Daisy by going to "Quick Race" and selecting "50cc." Win first place in all 50cc cups and avoid getting hit by other opponents. You need to get a one-star rating in all 50cc cups.
Unlock eight Expert Staff Ghost Data time trial races to get Baby Luigi. To unlock Expert Staff Ghost tracks, you need to win a Time Trial race by a seven- to 10-second margin.
Click on "Time Trials Mode" and complete 16 different races to unlock Birdo.
Get a one-star ranking in all of the 100cc Retro Cups to unlock Bowser Jr.
Win all of the races on the 150cc Special Cup to unlock Daisy. Avoid being hit by opponents, walls or other obstacles to help finish all the races first and with minimal to no hits.
Win first place on all 50cc cups to unlock Diddy Kong. The 50cc races are fairly simple, so you should have little trouble. Stay on the track and avoid obstacles.
Unlock Dry Bones by winning the 100cc Leaf Cups races. The 100cc cups are for bikes only. Bikes tend to be faster and have better handling, although sometimes they can be tricky. Avoid hitting other opponents and obstacles to help win first place.
Unlock Dry Browser by getting a one-star rating or better in all 150cc Wii Cups. To do this, avoid hitting any opponents, traps, projectiles or other items on the track.
Unlock Funky Kong by unlocking four Expert Ghost Data in the Time Trial races.
Unlock King Boo by winning first place in all 50cc Star Cup races.
Unlock the Mii Outfit (A) by winning first place in all the 100cc Special Cup races.
Unlock Mii Oufit (B) by winning all 32 Expert Staff Ghost Data time trial races.
Unlock Rosalina by winning a one-star rating or better in all of the Mirror Mode Wii Cup races. You may also unlock Rosalina by having a saved game file on your Wii of "Super Mario Galaxy" and winning 50 Grand Prix races.
Unlock Toadette by racing on all 32 race courses in Time Trial mode or by winning 1,000 Wi-Fi online matches.
