RF Modulator
Purchase an RF Modulator for use with your television. These can be found at numerous websites online, large retail stores or small electronics stores.
Take your cable line from the wall and plug it into the "Ant. In" coaxial input on the modulator.
Connect a co-axial cable from the "To TV" input and into the cable input on the television. If you use a cable box, connect the coaxial cable into the "Ant. In" port on the cable box and connect a cord from the output of the cable box to the input of the television.
Connect the Wii's RCA cables into their coordinating colors on the modulator.
Select the "Input" option on the front of the modulator. Turn on the television and the Wii menu will appear. Change the "Input" selection to go back to normal TV.
DVD Player or VCR
Ensure your DVD player or VCR has both a co-axial input and export port to work with the Wii. The device also needs RCA inputs, usually located on the back of the device or on the front right.
Connect the coaxial cable from the TV "Input" and into the DVD/VCR "Output." Connect the coaxial from the wall into the DVD/VCR "Ant. In" section.
Plug in the corresponding RCA cables into the matching color ports on the device. Some DVD and VCR players only come with two RCA connections; just match the connections and it will work fine.
Power on the DVD/VCR and use the "Input" or "Channel" selection to choose the input device. If the RCA cables are plugged into the front of the Wii, it is usually "Input 1." If the cables are in the back it is usually "Input 2."
Turn on the Wii and the system menu will automatically load on the television.
