How to Kill El Gigante in Resident Evil 4 Wii Version

El Gigante is an enormous, fairly tough boss in "Resident Evil 4," but a player with quick reflexes and proper planning can take him down without too much difficulty. The ideal weapons for quickly dispatching El Gigante are powerful weapons like the rocket launcher, mine thrower or shotgun, though the TMP or any firearm can get the job done too.

Staying Alive While Fighting El Gigante

  Avoid El Gigante at all costs by running around obstacles and even in circles. El Gigante deals enormous damage when he attacks.

  Be ready to use health items (eggs or herbs) whenever possible. You might be able to make it without them, but be prepared just in case.

  Execute button prompts quickly. A couple of El Gigante's attacks will require these prompts, and good reflexes will help you take little or no damage.
Dropping El Gigante

  Fire at El Gigante as often as possible. Head shots do slightly more damage, but they may not be worth the effort or the time it takes to aim. After he takes enough damage, El Gigante will drop, hold his head, and his "plaga" (a parasite) will emerge from his back.

  Attack El Gigante's plaga. This is his only weak spot, and you need to attack it immediately by opening fire, or by climbing on his back and using a knife.

  Repeat until El Gigante is dead. You may need to attack El Gigante's plaga three to five times.
