How to Unlock the Last Medium Kart in Mario Kart Wii

The extremely fast secret kart known as the "Sprinter" is considered the last medium kart to unlock in "Mario Kart Wii." It's the only kart that cannot be unlocked simply by playing the game's primary mode, the "Grand Prix." Instead, the kart is unlocked through the game's "Time Trial" mode and only after the player can outrace a host of "ghosts."

     Enter the "Time Trial"mode in the game's main menu.

     Complete any race in the time trial mode within the target time, which will vary depending on the track you select. Once you meet the target time, you will unlock the special "Staff Ghost" for the track.

     Unlock the Staff Ghosts for 23 additional tracks, and the Sprinter will automatically be unlocked.
