How to Do Special Moves in Super Smash Brothers Brawl

"Super Smash Bros. Brawl" for the Nintendo Wii is a favorite fighting game series. Nintendo characters such as Mario, Link, Samus Aran and Kid Icarus battle it out in four-player brawls on levels inspired by classic Nintendo titles. You unlock additional characters and levels as you progress through the game. Each character has a number of special moves performed by using the control stick and the "B" button.

Instructions

- 1
  Press the "B" button without hitting the control stick to perform a standard special move. These moves are different for each character. Mario, for example, will throw a fireball as his standard special move. Wario chews opponents. Yoshi snares foes with his tongue.

  Hold the control stick on the nunchuk up while pressing "B" on the Wii remote to perform the up special move. This maneuver allows characters to escape danger. Peach will take to the air with her parasol. Bowser spins into the skies. Diddy Kong uses rocket barrels to float above the level.

  Flick the control stick to the left or right while pressing "B" to perform the side special move. Sheik attacks with her chain, while her alter ego Zelda shoots a fireball. Kirby attacks with a giant hammer. Meta Knight drills into foes.
- 4
  Press the control stick down while tapping "B" to do the down special move. Characters like Meta Knight and Fox will put up shields, while other characters such as Zero Suit Samus will flip over foes to attack them from behind. Pikachu's down special move allows him to strike enemies with lightning.
