How to Turn Off Swearing on Wii Call of Duty

"Call of Duty" has been a wildly popular series for every major game console since October of 2003. Activision has released two of these games with a "mature" rating to simulate the realism of combat, but parents can get concerned about the level of violence and profanity in the games. The Wii "Call of Duty" games "Modern Warfare" and "World at War" were released with a "mature" rating but have a simple way to turn off the language and gore, while "Call of Duty 3" was released with a "teen" rating, less profanity and no option to turn off bad language.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the game disk into the Wii and turn on the machine. Wait for the introductory movies to finish and access the main menu.

    • 2

Open up the main menu. Choose "Options."

    • 3

Select the "Reduced" option. All gore and harsh language will now be gone from the game.
