How to Unlock All of the Karts in Mario Kart

"Mario Kart Wii," features an extensive system of unlockable extras that reward players for racing with additional courses, characters, bikes, and karts. Nine different karts, including three for each weight class, can be unlocked by meeting various gameplay challenges. The unlockable karts have different speed, acceleration, and handling statistics than standard karts. They can be used in any game mode, including Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection races.

Instructions

  Win the Leaf Cup and Special Cup at 50cc to unlock the Turbo Blooper and the Piranha Prowler.

  Win the Leaf Cup and Lightning Cup at 150cc to unlock the Royal Racer and the Honeycoupe.

  Win the Lightning Cup in Mirror Mode to unlock the Blue Falcon.

  Attain a one-star ranking or higher for your performance in all of the Retro Cups at 50cc and 150cc to unlock the Cheep Charger and the Aero Glider.

  Achieve a fast enough time on all 24 Time Trials to make the Expert Staff ghosts appear. After one ghost appears, you will unlock the Tiny Titan. After the other 23 appear, you will unlock the Sprinter.
