How to Do Buddy Moves on the Wii on Super Mario Sluggers

Released in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii, "Mario Super Sluggers" is one of the installments in the "Mario Sports" series of games and is the sequel to Nintendo's "Mario Superstar Baseball" for the Nintendo Gamecube. The game is not much different to that of "Mario Super Sluggers," as it features modes that are very similar to its predecessor. What stands out above all else in the game are its controls, as this marks the first time that a Mario baseball game can be controlled via the Wii remote.

Instructions

  1. Buddy Jump

    • 1

Put two people in the outfield that have great chemistry.

    • 2

Select your fielder and run to the back of the field. Next, wait for your teammate (the one that has great chemistry with you) to get close to you.

    • 3

Press "A" twice when the ball is about to fly over your head (about 3-4 feet away). This will cause your character to leap off the head of your teammate and grab the ball in the air. This is a great, last-ditch effort to snag a ball that looks to be long gone.

    Buddy Toss

    • 4

Place two teammates that have great chemistry together in the outfield.

    • 5

Run to the ball when it is hit with your teammate in your vicinity.

    • 6

Press "B" to perform a "buddy pass" to quickly pass it to your teammate. If there are any runners on base, throw the ball to your teammate, who immediately throws it to the base that the runner is running toward.
