The Wii Dance Mat, also frequently called the "dance pad," is a popular accessory for Nintendo&'s Wii video game system. Connecting the Wii Dance Mat is often troubling since many users cannot find the appropriate connection slots on the Wii system. The connection, however, is rather simple to secure once you locate the expansion slots on the Wii itself. Connect the mat and quickly get to dancing.

  Unfold your Wii Dance Mat on a flat surface in front of your Wii system and television. Be sure that the side with the Dance Mat&'s connection cable is positioned closest to your Wii.

  Pull the cover off of the top of the Wii, in order to gain access to the four GameCube expansion slots.

  Connect the end of the cable from the Wii Dance mat securely into any of the four GameCube expansion slots.
- 4
  Turn on your Wii system and insert the accompanying Wii Dance Mat game disc. The game will guide you through the setup process.
